Starters

Freshly made soup served with home made brown and treacle bread.

 

Saffron infused Bofin Chowder finished with smoked mackerel.

 

Killary Harbour mussels, cooked in garlic, coriander and white wine served with crusty bread, also a spicy chilli version is available.

 

Inishbofin crab risotto with chives and basil, shell fish volute, and tomato comfit.

 

Duck parfait served with homemade toasted brioche and a sweet pear chutney

 

Mains

Italian seafood broth with roast cod, basil, langoustines and mussels with farfalle pasta, 
toasted ciabatta garlic bread and tossed green salad.

 

Crispy cod, with gazpacho sauce on garlic samphire served with gingered green veg and herb mash.

 

Pan-fried sea bass and monkfish, with a spicy chorizo broth, white beans, potato gnocchi, roast veg and a tapenade croute.

 

Pan-fried 8 oz sirloin steak served with potato gratin sautéed truffled mixed veg, salsa verdi and veal jus.

 

Roasted cornfed chicken and chicken dumplings with herbs and parma ham, roast root veg,
fondant potato cooked in duck fat and a thyme and port jus.

Smoked and peppered mackerel salad with a fresh horse radish remoulade and home made brown bread.

Smoked salmon salad with capers, red onion chutney, lemon dressing and homemade brown bread.

mixed seafood tossed with garlic and basil in a tomato and prawn bisque sauce, finished with fresh parmesan and olive oil.

Deep fried spicy calamari served with a saffron rouille dip and salad of sun blushed tomatoes kalamata olives and garlic dressing.

Pan-fried 8 oz sirloin steak served with chunky fries and salad, and choice of pepper / garlic sauce or garlic butter.

Homemade burgers served with chunky fries, tomato chutney and salad, and a topping choice of mature Irish cheddar / cashel blue cheese.

 

Selection of closed and open sandwiches

Ham, cheese, tomato chutney.
Roast beef, rocket, mustard.
Irish brie, roast tom, basil pesto.
Tuna and lime mayo.
Prawn and dill mayo.
Smoked salmon, cucumber, sweet mustard.
